Since 1938, CMI has been committed to producing the
highest quality centrifuges and process equipment available
on the market. We pride ourselves on the fact that the
majority of manufacturing work is still done in-house,
ensuring that each product machined at CMI is of top
quality and meets the strict tolerances demanded by
our equipment specifications. CMI’s St. Louis,
Missouri manufacturing facility boasts 63,000 square
feet of manufacturing and warehouse space under one
roof.
CMI’s
17,000 square foot machine shop hosts a variety of lathes,
vertical turret lathes, drills, milling machines and
boring mills. Additionally, our state-of-the-art
advanced balancing computer allows for precision
balancing of every rotating component to within an ounce
or less before being warehoused or sold. CMI has also
dedicated over 4,200 square feet of space to our welding
and fabrication shop, which includes five new CVCC wire
feed welding machines.
CMI’s manufacturing personnel are represented
by the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace
Workers, District 9 and have an average of over 23 years
of experience. These expert machinists produce the best
centrifugal products and process equipment on the market
today.
