| CMI maintains a reliable network of
inventory points throughout the United
States and abroad to
provide genuine CMI parts in the shortest possible time.
After all, a machine not in operation is a machine that
is not able to make money. For critical items, such
as drive assemblies, CMI maintains a complete inventory
of remanufactured drive assemblies available for exchange
on a one-for-one basis. This ensures that the customer
will never have an "equipment down" situation while
awaiting necessary repairs.
UNITED STATES
Domestically, CMI maintains an extensive inventory
of components for every machine model currently in operation
at our St. Louis, Missouri facility. CMI also maintains
limited inventory at each Sales
Engineer's Location (see
the Sales Map).
To ensure parts availability, typically within 24 hours,
for our U.S. Coal Preparation Customers, CMI has established
an extensive inventory with Fairmont Supply and Construction
Machinery Corporation (CMC).
